Community Employment Consultant - DWD Vincennes - Knox County

This position serves as the DWD Manager for the office providing technical service, expertise and training to local office staff in one or more specific program areas coordinated by the Indiana Department of Workforce Development (DWD.) This Community Employment Consultant 2 is the formal manager for all Field Operations staff in their particular local office and in many cases the functional manager for Partner staff in the local office.
Responsibilities:
Perform as consultant providing technical expertise and training to local staff and administrative office regarding programs including Unemployment Insurance, Equal
Employment Opportunity Commission, Applicant and Employer Services, Wagner-Peyser and Veterans' programs and/or other special programs or assigned projects.
Coordinate and monitors local office program operations to verify implementation within the framework of federal or state laws, regulations or guidelines, makes recommendations for improvement.
Approve time off requests for state and partner staff.
Approve A-4 in PS time and labor verifying correct hours worked and time changing and activity codes.
Develop staff work profiles annually and evaluate the staff with annual performance
Develop new operational procedures or methods for improving operations when required by law or as circumstances deem necessary.
Develop communication notices (policy, directive, information) regarding current or new program policies or operation guidelines.
Investigate and respond to complaints concerning DWD and its programs or operations.
Complete reports on program operations and activity and compliance with rules, regulations; provide state and federal agencies with information.
Attend and participate in regional and national meetings relating to program.
Preferred
Experience:
Five (5) years work experience in Business Administration; Human Resources; Public Administration; Social Services; Vocational Counseling; a State or Federal employment service program; Educational Training program; or accredited college training in a related field.
Must have at least one (1) year of administrative, managerial or supervisory experience in the above areas.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
